IPH signed with SELCO Foundation

IPH has signed a MoU with SELCO Foundation to evaluate the implementation of their energy-based solution within primary healthcare settings. This is one of the projects under the Health equity & evaluation cluster. After MoU signing, Dr. N Devadasan, Director IPH led an interactive discussion with several students, interns and others in SELCO’s health team at their offices.

Call for application for Implementation research workshop

Institute of Public Health, Bengaluru and Center for Tropical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia are calling for applicants to participate in the 3rd Batch of the Regional Course on IR that will be held on 15-18 th November, 2017 in Bengaluru, India. We are designated by WHO TDR as Regional Training Center (RTC) for Health Research for the South East Asia Region with a mandate to improve research capacity skills of researchers in the region.
This workshop is a blended training program with a one month online course beginning 18​th Oct 2017 to 8​th Nov 2017 ​followed by a four day workshop from 15​th to 18​th November in Bengaluru, jointly be organised by Institute of Public Health, Bangalore (IPH) & Center for Tropical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Regional road safety meeting

CUTS International in partnership with Centre for Environment & Development (CED) organized a Regional Meeting on ‘Road safety – Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Bill 2017 & Way Forward’ in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on July 14, 2017. Adv. Mathew T. Thomas (Minister for Water Resources, Govt. of Kerala and former Minister for Transport), inaugurated the meeting
About 100 participants, including delegates from 7 states, attended the workshop. Pragati Hebbar of Institute of Public Health participated in the meeting.
