Pragati B Hebbar (Assistant Director Administration)
Pragati is a dentist by education, with an MDS in Oral Medicine and Radiology. She is currently pursuing a PhD in health systems research at Maastricht University, Netherlands. Her PhD and DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance early-career fellowship aims to understand the implementation of tobacco control policy interventions in India to document what works why, where, and for whom. The work will be utilizing an implementation research approach and theory-driven inquiry methods to decipher the phenomena of implementation.
She co-leads the Chronic conditions and Public policies cluster at IPH, is the President of the Gender Issues and (Prevention of) Sexual Harassment (GISH) committee, and has a keen interest in the administration of the institute and its projects.
