Institute of Public Health, Bengaluru and Center for Tropical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia are calling for applicants to participate in the 3rd Batch of the Regional Course on IR that will be held on 15-18 th November, 2017 in Bengaluru, India. We are designated by WHO TDR as Regional Training Center (RTC) for Health Research for the South East Asia Region with a mandate to improve research capacity skills of researchers in the region.
This workshop is a blended training program with a one month online course beginning 18​th Oct 2017 to 8​th Nov 2017 ​followed by a four day workshop from 15​th to 18​th November in Bengaluru, jointly be organised by Institute of Public Health, Bangalore (IPH) & Center for Tropical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In this Certificate course in Implementation Research Methods (eIR) course, There is a need to understand implementation in the real-world context. There are many evidence-based interventions to improve health that have not been effectively delivered. The research agenda especially in the context of maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, etc. have been shifting and needs to shift from understanding the problem to actually intervening and testing solutions in health care systems. This Certificate course in Implementation Research Methods (eIR) course will improve the capacity of researchers to answer implementation research questions.
