Public Health Seminars
Every month, IPH holds public health seminars on various relevant topics within public health. Typically, the seminars will be given by IPH staff or visitors. All IPH seminars will be open to the public and invitations will be posted on IPH’s website and social media channels. We particularly welcome students of health and allied subjects and young researchers/practitioners of public health.
Seminars will be held from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM usually on Thursday.

On February 20, Dr. Sukanya Mohanty, Consultant with the SPEAK team at IPH, Bengaluru, will be presenting a seminar titled “Understanding health exposures and vulnerabilities of women workers.”
IPH seminar: When community care becomes community mental health
On January 31st, Sudarshan Kottai, doctoral candidate at IIT Hyderabad, will be presenting a seminar titled ” When community care becomes community mental health: The disappearance of local voices in community mental health programmes in Kerala.”
IPH Seminar: Understanding Surrogacy
On January 30th, Lopamudra Goswami, doctoral candidate at Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia, will be presenting her research work on surrogacy in India in a seminar titled “Understanding Surrogacy.”
