While no major national health reform has taken place in the last decade, there has been provincial/territorial initiatives in reorganizing regional health system to improve primary, acute, and chronic care”.

Tobacco epidemic in India and the societal harms it causes

Syeda will present her work with the tobacco control project. She will be speaking about the tobacco epidemic in India and the societal harms it causes as well as current solutions including existing policy. She will also speak about the tobacco control project, which is qualitative study on questions asked during the Rajya Sabha parliamentary sessions regarding tobacco. Because the internship will continue for another month, she will describe the analysis of content thus far. Additionally she will describe her experience at IPH.
