Equitable India - All for Health and Wellbeing
EPHP 2016EPHP 2016 was the third in the series of the national conference on bringing Evidence into Public Health Policy (EPHP). The conference was organized by the Institute of Public Health (Bengaluru) and the Institute of Tropical Medicine (Antwerp) in partnership with the National Health Systems Resource Centre (Government of India) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (Government of India), the Karnataka Department of Health and Family Welfare, and the BecauseHealthState (a Belgian platform for International Health) in Bengaluru from 7-9 July 2016. It started with a pre-conference workshop on Pre-conference workshop on ‘Cutting-edge Research in Health Inequities: Concepts & Methods’. The central theme of the conference was to reflect and deliberate on equity in health and wellbeing and how various sectors could contribute towards achieving that. The conference proceedings are published as a special supplement in the BMJ Global Health.
