Strengthening Health Systems to Achieve Universal Health Coverage

(EPHP 2012)

EPHP 2012 was the second in the series of the national conference on bringing Evidence into Public Health Policy (EPHP). The conference was organized by the Institute of Public Health (Bengaluru) and the Institute of Tropical Medicine (Antwerp) in partnership with the National Health Systems Resource Centre (Government of India) and the Karnataka State Health Systems Resource Centre (Government of Karnataka) in Bengaluru from 5-6 October 2012. The central theme of the conference was to reflect and deliberate on the Universal Health Coverage in India and how to strengthen health systems towards achieving that. The conference proceedings are published as a special supplement in the BioMedCentral Proceedings.
