IPH has organised a debate on the topic ‘Purchasing primary care from the private sector is neither feasible, nor should be attempted for a country like India’. Dr. Prashanth will speak in favour of the topic (Affirmative) whereas Dr. Devadasan will speak against it (Negative). The speakers get 8 minutes each for their constructive speeches, followed by a second round (4 mins each) for rebuttal. A moderator will keep time. Pre- and post-debate audience polls will be held.
