Dorothy Lall (Faculty)

Dorothy is an MD in community medicine with a special interest in surveillance of non communicable diseases and nutrtion epidemiology. Presently, a PhD student, focusing on health systems research for quality care for Non communicable chronic conditions such as CVD and diabetes. She is the member secretary for Internal Review Board at IPH and course coordinator of  e-learning course is Scientific Writing and Reference Management Tools. Qualifications: MBBS, MD Community Medicine, Fellowship HIV Medicine (CMC Vellore), Fellowship Cardiovascular Epidemiology (CCDC Delhi & Emory University, Atlanta)

In this eRM (eLearning course in Research Methods) course, we start with helping the student develop clear and well formulated research questions. Participants are then taught how to select research designs and methods best suited to answer the research question, beyond the usual epidemiological disciplines.
