Praveen Rao S., works as a communication consultant at the Institute of Public Health. A graduate from Bangalore University, he has worked as a public relations professional for over six years. In his capacity as a communications consultant he has established strong networks with state and district level media houses. Rao was associated with the Tobacco Control Project at IPH as part of the Project’s communication team before he joined the Safer Roads Bengaluru Project which aims to make Bengaluru roads safer for road users. His work at the Institute of Public Health aims to push for an enhanced focus on public health issues, both in the print and electronic media.
